Host a Hygiene Product Drive

Join us in making a difference in our community by hosting a hygiene product drive for Refresh. This is an engaging activity for kids, family members, friends, and community members alike.

Organizing Your Drive: Step-by-Step Guide

1. Set Your Goal

Determine a target number of Refresh Packs to collect. Remember, our packs are personalized, so we encourage collecting products geared towards a specific age and gender. For example, you might aim to gather 20 Refresh Packs for teen males and 20 for teen females.

If you would like to host a more focused drive, consider choosing just a few specific items to collect. For example, you could host an oral hygiene drive and focus on collecting toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss or a haircare drive and collect shampoo and conditioner. Feel free to customize your drive in a way that works best for your specific group!

2. Prepare Your Sign-Up

Determine if you are giving service hours for items collected for your drive and what those guidelines look like. Many sports teams, NHS chapters, student councils, etc. do this and a standard rule of thumb for them has been 5 products=1 hour, 10 products=2hours and 15 products=3 hours.

Once you’ve set your goal, create a sign-up list (SignUpGenius is one option) to manage the collection of hygiene products. Your sign-up should specify:
