Eligibility Criteria
How to Apply
If your child meets the above criteria, we invite you to enroll for the 2024/25 school year. If you need immediate assistance, please email us at info@refreshntx.org.
To be considered for the Refresh program, your child must meet both of the following criteria:
- Qualify for the ISD’s Free and Reduced Price Meal program.
- Attend Pre-K-12th grade in:
- Frisco ISD
- Little Elm ISD
- Denton ISD (select schools only):
- Bell Elementary
- Martinez Elementary
- Navo Middle School
- Braswell High School
- North Texas Collegiate Academy:
- Little Elm campus
- Denton campus
- Lewisville campus
- Or attend a participating private or charter school in Frisco or Little Elm
What We Provide
Refresh offers customized hygiene packs to students in PreK-12th grade that are enrolled in our program. These packs include full-sized essential hygiene products and are designed to last 3 months. Once your child is enrolled, they remain in the program for the rest of the school year.
What's in a Refresh Pack?
Our Refresh Packs are customized to your child’s age, gender preference, and curly/coily hair care. Here’s what a typical pack includes:
- Basic items: Toothpaste, toothbrush, floss, shampoo, conditioner, body wash/bar soap, lip balm, comb/brush, and lotion.
- Additional items for middle and high schoolers: Shaving cream, deodorant, and menstruation products.
- PreK packs include: Bubble bath, detangling spray, bar soap, shampoo or 3 in 1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash, lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste and a brush.
- Seasonal items: Hand sanitizer or sunscreen, depending on the time of year.
- A Refresh Card: A handwritten note of encouragement to give your child a boost!
When and How You'll Receive Refresh Packs
Refresh Packs are distributed once a quarter, typically in August, November, February, and April or May. Once enrolled, you’ll receive several emails with details on when and where packs will be distributed. Our packs will be available for pick up at drive-thru distributions or will be delivered to schools. You can choose which option works best for your family.
Drive Thru Distribution Dates for 2024-2025
- Drive thru November 9, 2024 8-11 am
- November 10, 2024 1-3pm
- November 11, 2024 4-7pm
- Drive thru February 1, 2025 8-11am
- February 2, 2025 1-3pm
- February 3, 2025 4-7pm
- Drive thru April 26, 2025 8-11am
- April 27, 2025 1-3pm
- April 28, 2025 4-7pm
The drive thru distributions are held at the Refresh warehouse, 124 Rose Lane, Entrance 2, Unit 405, Frisco TX 75036. Please write your children’s last name(s) and your Refresh family ID number on a piece of paper and bring it with you.
School Delivery Dates for 2024-2025 (if you DID NOT pick your pack(s) up at the warehouse). These packs will be discreetly delivered to students by a school staff member sometime during this week.
